This creamy, tangy ranch dip is made with Greek yogurt and fresh herbs for a light, guilt-free snack. Perfect for dipping veggies, crackers, or using as a healthy sandwich spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (2% or whole milk, about 8 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional, avocado oil mayo preferred for healthier option)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the parsley, dill, and chives. Finely chop each herb.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and mayonnaise (if using). Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the chopped parsley, dill, and chives to the bowl.
  4. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  5. Add the fresh lemon juice.
  6. Whisk everything together until the herbs and seasonings are evenly incorporated.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning: add more salt, lemon juice, or herbs as desired.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (up to 24 hours) to let flavors meld.
  9. Stir before serving. Garnish with extra herbs if desired and serve with veggies, crackers, or pita chips.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh herbs and let the dip chill for at least 15 minutes before serving. Adjust consistency with a splash of milk if too thick, or add more yogurt if too thin. Can be made dairy-free with plant-based yogurt and mayo. Keeps up to 4 days in the fridge.
