Instructions

  1. Prepare the Hot Honey Butter: In a medium bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, hot honey, and chili flakes. Whip with a spatula or hand mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Whip the Ricotta: In another bowl, add fresh ricotta cheese and heavy cream or whole milk. Whip with an electric mixer or whisk until creamy and smooth, about 3-4 minutes. Add more cream if needed. Season lightly with flaky sea salt.
  3. Slice and Toast the Baguette: Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch (1.3 cm) slices. Toast on a baking sheet in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp, or toast in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side.
