A creamy, sprinkle-studded dip that tastes exactly like the iconic Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes. This no-bake dessert comes together in under 15 minutes and is perfect for holiday gatherings, cookie exchanges, or cozy nights by the tree.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • Green gel food coloring
  • 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles
  • 1 cup crushed Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (about 3–4 cakes)
  • For serving: graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzel sticks, or apple slices

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Take the cream cheese out of the fridge about 30 minutes before starting. It should be soft enough to leave a gentle indent when pressed.
  2. Beat the cream cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until completely smooth and fluffy. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl halfway through.
  3. Add the marshmallow fluff: Scoop in the marshmallow fluff. Beat on low speed for about 30 seconds, then increase to medium and beat for another minute until fully combined. The mixture should look pale, airy, and cloud-like.
  4. Incorporate the dry and wet ingredients: Add the sifted powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Beat on low until the sugar is mostly incorporated, then increase to medium and beat for about 1 minute until smooth and glossy. Scrape down the bowl again.
  5. Add the color: Add green gel food coloring one drop at a time, starting with 2 drops and mixing thoroughly. Use about 4-5 drops for a vibrant Christmas tree green.
  6. Fold in the sprinkles: Gently fold in 1/4 cup of the holiday sprinkles using a rubber spatula. Be careful not to overmix to prevent color bleeding.
  7. Prepare the topping: Crush 3-4 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes into coarse crumbs (about the size of small peas) using a ziploc bag and rolling pin.
  8. Assemble the dip: Transfer the green dip to a serving bowl and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle the crushed Little Debbie cakes evenly over the top, followed by the remaining sprinkles. Gently press with a spatula so the toppings stick.
  9. Chill (optional): Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best texture. Can be served immediately if desired.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature cream cheese. Gel food coloring is recommended over liquid to avoid thinning the dip. Crush the Little Debbie cakes just before serving to keep them crunchy. The dip can be made up to 2 days in advance; add crushed cake topping just before serving. Not suitable for freezing.
