A light and refreshing mocktail made with real apple cider, a gentle fizz, and warm cinnamon. It’s cozy but not heavy, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) apple cider
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) sparkling water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (to taste)
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • Optional garnishes: thin apple slice, star anise pod, or fresh rosemary sprig

Instructions

  1. Fill your glass with ice (4-5 large cubes).
  2. Pour 1 cup (240 ml) apple cider over the ice.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice.
  4. Stir in 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (if using) until dissolved.
  5. Add a tiny pinch of sea salt and stir.
  6. Top with 1/2 cup (120 ml) sparkling water, pouring gently to preserve bubbles.
  7. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and optional apple slice or star anise. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a stronger cinnamon flavor, make a cinnamon simple syrup. To batch for a crowd, mix the base (cider, lemon, maple syrup, salt) ahead and add sparkling water per glass. For a warm version, heat the base and skip the ice and sparkling water.
