Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup green grapes (washed and dried)
  • 1 cup red grapes (washed and dried)
  • 1 cup strawberries (hulled and halved if large)
  • 1 cup blueberries (washed and dried)
  • 1 banana (sliced into rounds)
  • 1 apple (sliced thin; Honeycrisp or Fuji recommended)
  • Optional: 1/2 cup blackberries or raspberries

Instructions

  1. Make the yogurt dip: In a small bowl, combine 1 cup Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and creamy. Adjust thickness with water or milk if needed.
  2. Prepare the piping bag: Spoon the yogurt mixture into a piping bag or a zip-top bag. If using a zip-top bag, seal it and snip off a tiny corner (about 1/8 inch wide). Test on a plate first.
  3. Prep the fruit: Wash and thoroughly dry all fruit. Slice strawberries, banana, and apple as directed. Toss apple slices in lemon juice to prevent browning. Arrange fruit in small piles.
  4. Create the web base: Place a large round platter on a flat surface. Pipe a small circle of yogurt in the center (about the size of a quarter). Pipe larger concentric circles around it, leaving about 2 inches between circles. Repeat until you have 4 to 5 circles.
  5. Draw the web lines: Starting from the center circle, pipe straight lines outward to the edge of the platter every 2 inches, creating 8 to 10 spokes.
  6. Connect the circles: Pipe small curved lines between each spoke to connect the concentric circles, working from the center outward.
  7. Arrange the fruit: Place fruit in sections between web lines, alternating colors. Press gently into yogurt lines to secure. Leave the center empty or place a single blackberry there.
  8. Add finishing touches: Optionally pipe a small spider shape or place blackberries on web lines. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours.

Notes

Dry fruit thoroughly to prevent yogurt web from sliding. Use full-fat Greek yogurt for best piping consistency. Assemble no more than 2 hours before serving. For a vegan version, use coconut yogurt and maple syrup.
