This creamy copycat pumpkin cream cold foam latte is a quick and easy homemade version of the popular coffee shop drink, made with simple ingredients like pumpkin puree, heavy cream, and maple syrup. It delivers a velvety, spiced foam on top of iced coffee for a delicious and budget-friendly treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (100% pure, not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A tiny pinch of salt
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled (or 2 shots of espresso)
  • ¾ cup milk of choice (oat milk, almond milk, or whole milk)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew 1 cup of strong coffee or pull 2 shots of espresso. Let it cool to room temperature (or pop it in the fridge for a few minutes).
  2. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 2 tablespoons whole milk, 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon maple syrup, ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract, and a tiny pinch of salt. Whisk until the pumpkin puree is fully incorporated and no lumps remain.
  3. Using a handheld milk frother, blend the mixture for 20-30 seconds until it becomes thick and creamy, holding soft peaks. Be careful not to over-froth.
  4. Fill a 16-ounce glass with ice cubes. Pour in the cooled coffee, then add ¾ cup of your milk of choice. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Using a spoon, gently dollop the pumpkin cream cold foam on top of the latte. Do not pour it—spooning keeps the layer intact.
  6. Sprinkle a tiny pinch of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use very cold heavy cream and milk. Do not skip the pinch of salt—it balances the sweetness. If you don’t have a frother, use a blender, French press, or a mason jar with a tight lid (shake vigorously for 30 seconds). The unfrothed pumpkin cream mixture can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
