A quick and easy recipe for crispy air fryer pork chops coated with a crunchy breadcrumb and Parmesan crust, finished with a sweet and tangy honey Dijon glaze. Perfect for busy weeknights and casual dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops, bone-in or boneless, about 1-inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (Japanese-style recommended)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked paprika optional)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Pat 4 pork chops dry with paper towels. Lightly brush both sides with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Let them sit briefly while you prepare the coating.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix 1 cup panko breadcrumbs, ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Stir well for an even seasoning blend.
  3. Press each pork chop firmly into the breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides evenly. Shake off any excess crumbs.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and let it warm up for about 3 minutes.
  5. Place the coated pork chops in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through at 6-7 minutes. Use tongs carefully to keep the coating intact. The internal temperature should reach 145°F.
  6. While the pork chops cook, whisk together ¼ cup honey, 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard, and 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. Adjust vinegar to taste if desired.
  7. Once pork chops are done, transfer to a plate and brush generously with the honey Dijon glaze. Let rest for 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Pat pork chops dry before coating for a crispier crust. Use Japanese-style panko for best texture. Rotate air fryer basket at 10 minutes if needed for even cooking. Avoid overcrowding the basket. Rest pork chops after cooking to lock in juices. For gluten-free, substitute panko with almond flour or gluten-free crackers. For dairy-free, omit Parmesan or use plant-based cheese.
