Easy Festive Christmas Cookie Dough Dip (No-Bake)

Christmas cookie dough dip - featured image

A creamy, sweet no-bake dip that tastes just like raw cookie dough but without any worry. Perfect for holiday gatherings, it comes together in under 15 minutes with simple pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese and butter by taking them out of the fridge about 30 minutes before starting. If in a rush, cut into small cubes and let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together on medium speed with a hand mixer for about 2 minutes until smooth, fluffy, and completely combined. Scrape down the sides halfway through.
  3. Add the packed brown sugar and granulated sugar. Beat on medium speed for another 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy and the brown sugar is fully incorporated.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and salt. Beat on low speed for about 30 seconds until just combined. Scrape the bowl and taste a tiny bit to adjust salt if needed.
  5. Switch to a rubber spatula and gently fold in the chocolate chips and holiday sprinkles. Fold about 10-12 times until evenly distributed.
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and smooth the top. Optionally, sprinkle extra chocolate chips and sprinkles on top for presentation.
  7. The dip is ready to eat immediately, but for best flavor and texture, chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving. If making ahead, cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese and butter are at room temperature for a smooth dip. The dip can be made up to 2 days ahead and stored in the refrigerator. Let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving for the best texture. Do not freeze as the texture becomes watery.
