This light and festive sparkling cranberry orange punch is the perfect easy holiday drink. It’s bright, bubbly, and refreshing, made with simple ingredients and ready in under 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (960 ml) cranberry juice, unsweetened or lightly sweetened
  • 1 cup (240 ml) fresh orange juice (from about 3–4 oranges)
  • 3 cups (720 ml) sparkling water or club soda, chilled
  • 1 cup (about 100 grams) fresh cranberries, for garnish
  • 1 large orange, sliced into thin rounds, for garnish
  • 2–3 cups ice
  • 2–3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) vodka, gin, or champagne (optional, for adult version)

Instructions

  1. Chill the cranberry juice, orange juice, and sparkling water in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Also, freeze ice cubes or an ice ring.
  2. Wash and dry the fresh cranberries. Slice the orange into thin rounds. Set aside in the refrigerator.
  3. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the chilled cranberry juice and fresh orange juice. If using sweetener, stir it in until dissolved.
  4. Add the ice cubes or frozen ice ring to the pitcher.
  5. Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled sparkling water or club soda. Stir very gently with a wooden spoon to combine.
  6. Drop the fresh cranberries and orange slices into the punch. If desired, add rosemary sprigs or cinnamon sticks.
  7. Serve immediately in ice-filled glasses. Garnish each glass with an extra cranberry or orange slice if desired.

Notes

Chill all ingredients beforehand to keep the punch cold without excessive ice. For a festive ice ring, freeze water with cranberries and orange slices in a bundt pan. Do not stir too vigorously after adding sparkling water to preserve bubbles. The juice mixture can be made a day ahead; add sparkling water and ice just before serving.
