Juicy, tender air fryer boneless pork chops coated in a rich garlic herb butter. This quick and easy recipe delivers a golden crust and incredible flavor in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2–4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, rosemary), finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the garlic herb butter: In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped fresh herbs. Mix well and set aside at room temperature.
  2. Prep the pork chops: Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Add smoked paprika if using. Drizzle with olive oil and rub to coat evenly.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Place pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, not touching. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through. For 1-inch thick chops, 8 minutes is usually perfect; for 1.5-inch thick, cook 10-12 minutes.
  5. Check for doneness: Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part; it should read 145°F (63°C).
  6. Add garlic herb butter: Transfer pork chops to a plate and immediately top each with a generous dollop of butter. Let it melt naturally.
  7. Rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.

Notes

For best results, let pork chops sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking. Resting is essential for juiciness.
