A quick and easy dessert charcuterie board featuring fresh fruits, crunchy snacks, and five decadent chocolate dips that are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Assorted fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes) – choose seasonal for best flavor
  • Crunchy cookies (shortbread, biscotti, or graham crackers) – recommended Walkers shortbread
  • Mini pretzels or salted crackers
  • Marshmallows or mini meringues
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
  • ½ cup heavy cream or coconut cream (for dairy-free option)
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (optional for peanut butter dip)
  • 4 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
  • ¼ cup coconut cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Honey or maple syrup (optional sweetener)
  • Nut butters (peanut, almond) for dips
  • Optional extras: chopped nuts (hazelnuts, pistachios), dried fruits (apricots, cranberries), shredded coconut or cocoa nibs

Instructions

  1. Chop 6 ounces of dark chocolate into small pieces and place into a heatproof bowl.
  2. Gently heat ½ cup heavy cream until it just begins to simmer.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes to soften.
  4. Stir the chocolate and cream mixture gently until smooth and glossy to make classic ganache dip.
  5. For peanut butter dip, blend in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter until fully combined.
  6. Melt 4 ounces of milk chocolate with ¼ cup coconut cream using the same method.
  7. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt to the milk chocolate dip.
  8. Rinse and dry fresh fruits. Slice strawberries if large and separate grapes into small clusters.
  9. Arrange fruits evenly around the board, alternating colors and shapes.
  10. Place cookies, pretzels, and marshmallows in small piles or lines, balancing crunchy and soft textures.
  11. Fill small bowls with each chocolate dip and nestle them among the fruits and snacks.
  12. Sprinkle chopped nuts or shredded coconut over the dips for visual appeal and added texture.
  13. Add dried fruits in gaps for pops of color.
  14. Scatter a few sea salt flakes atop the dark chocolate dip to heighten flavor contrast.
  15. Serve immediately or cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Use low heat or double boiler to melt chocolate to avoid seizing. Stir constantly and remove from heat while still slightly thick. If ganache is too thick, reheat with a splash of cream; if too thin, add more melted chocolate or chill briefly. Serve dips at room temperature for best texture. Use small bowls to keep dips organized and prevent mess. Fresh fruit is best; frozen berries can be used if thawed. Nuts and dried fruits add texture and color. For nut-free version, skip nut butter dips and try chocolate-orange ganache.
