An easy and stunning grazing board featuring salty prosciutto, creamy brie, sweet fresh figs, honey drizzle, and crunchy nuts—perfect for summer entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 1 wheel (8 ounces) brie cheese, room temperature
  • 68 medium fresh figs, halved
  • 2 tablespoons honey (floral variety like orange blossom or wildflower)
  • ¼ cup (30 grams) toasted mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pistachios)
  • Crusty bread or artisanal crackers (such as a sliced baguette or rosemary crackers)
  • Fresh herbs (optional, such as thyme or rosemary sprigs)

Instructions

  1. Wash fresh figs and cut them in half lengthwise.
  2. If refrigerated, take brie out about 20 minutes before assembling to soften.
  3. Slice baguette thinly and toast lightly if desired.
  4. Gently fold each slice of prosciutto into loose ribbons or rosettes and scatter in clusters on the board.
  5. Place the wheel of brie centrally or slightly off-center; optionally slice a small wedge to show the creamy inside.
  6. Nestle fig halves evenly around the brie and prosciutto for color and balance.
  7. Toast nuts lightly in a dry skillet until fragrant and slightly browned, then sprinkle in small clusters on the board.
  8. Drizzle honey evenly over the brie and figs using a spoon or honey dipper.
  9. Optionally garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs.
  10. Keep the board chilled until about 10 minutes before serving to maintain brie texture.

Notes

Keep brie at room temperature before serving for best texture. Toast nuts just before serving to enhance flavor. Avoid overcrowding the board for better presentation and ease of eating. Assemble no more than 30 minutes before serving to prevent soggy bread and maintain freshness. Variations include swapping figs for peaches or plums, using vegan cheese for dairy-free, or replacing prosciutto with grilled vegetables for vegetarian.
