A fast, sticky, and savory honey garlic salmon with roasted broccoli, ready in under 25 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights when you need a healthy, delicious meal with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets (roughly chopped)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds, sliced green onions, lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil to make the glaze.
  3. Toss broccoli florets with about 2 tablespoons of the glaze until lightly coated. Spread on one side of the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place skin-side down on the other side of the baking sheet. Brush each fillet generously with remaining glaze.
  5. Roast for 12-15 minutes, until salmon flakes easily and internal temperature reaches 125-130°F for medium. Broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for extra caramelization (watch closely).
  6. Let salmon rest 2-3 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and lemon juice if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Pat salmon dry for best glaze adhesion. Watch the glaze closely during broiling to prevent burning. For extra crispy broccoli, toss with a little extra olive oil before adding glaze. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 4 days; reheat gently in a 300°F oven or skillet.
