A light and festive sparkling strawberry lemonade punch perfect for summer parties, combining fresh strawberries, lemon juice, and bubbly sparkling water for a refreshing drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 4 large lemons)
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 4 cups sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • Thin lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced strawberries with 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Stir gently to coat and let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes to macerate.
  2. Juice 4 large lemons to yield about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice, removing any seeds.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice with 3 cups cold water. Stir well and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more sugar or honey.
  4. Add the macerated strawberry mixture, including juices, to the lemonade base and stir gently to combine.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes to chill and let flavors meld.
  6. Just before serving, gently stir in 4 cups chilled sparkling water or club soda to preserve bubbles.
  7. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Do not stir vigorously after adding sparkling water to preserve bubbles. Macerate strawberries with sugar to enhance sweetness and flavor. Prepare base up to 24 hours ahead and add sparkling water just before serving. Use frozen berries if fresh are unavailable, thaw and macerate as usual. For a twist, add a splash of vodka or rum for a boozy version.
