This Witches Brew Halloween Punch is a sweet, fizzy, and spooky drink that comes together in just 10 minutes. It’s the perfect crowd-pleaser for Halloween parties, with a magical green glow and a delicious balance of citrus and ginger ale.

Ingredients

  • Lemon-lime soda (2 liters)
  • Ginger ale (1 liter)
  • Limeade concentrate (12 ounces, thawed)
  • Lemonade concentrate (12 ounces, thawed)
  • Lime sherbet (1 quart)
  • Green food coloring (optional, 2-3 drops)
  • Dry ice (optional, for effect)
  • Gummy worms or plastic spiders (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Thaw your concentrates: Take the limeade and lemonade concentrates out of the freezer about 30 minutes before you start. You want them to be liquid but still cold.
  2. Chill your sodas: Put the lemon-lime soda and ginger ale in the fridge at least an hour ahead. Cold soda keeps its fizz better when mixed.
  3. Set up your punch bowl: Place your punch bowl in the center of your serving area on a stable surface.
  4. Pour in the concentrates: Pour the thawed limeade and lemonade concentrates into the bottom of the punch bowl.
  5. Add the sodas: Slowly pour in the lemon-lime soda and ginger ale. Gently stir with your whisk to combine everything.
  6. Add the sherbet: Scoop the lime sherbet into the punch bowl in large spoonfuls. Don’t stir it in completely—you want some chunks floating around for that creepy, frothy effect.
  7. Add food coloring (optional): If you want a deeper green color, add 2-3 drops of green food coloring and gently swirl.
  8. Add dry ice (optional): If using dry ice, use tongs to add a small chunk to the punch bowl. Never drink the punch until the dry ice has completely dissolved—usually about 5-10 minutes.
  9. Garnish and serve: Drop in gummy worms or plastic spiders. Serve immediately with a ladle.

Notes

Keep everything cold for best carbonation. Add sherbet last for frothy texture. Dry ice is optional and must be handled with care—never drink punch until dry ice has fully dissolved. For an adult version, add 1 cup of vodka or white rum.
