A simple, healthy frozen yogurt bark made with just three ingredients. Perfect for a quick preschooler snack that’s both nutritious and delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, recommended for plain yogurt)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, ensuring it lies flat and extends slightly up the edges.
  2. If using plain yogurt, stir in honey or maple syrup. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
  3. Spread the yogurt onto the parchment paper into an even rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Scatter the berries over the yogurt, pressing them gently into the surface so they are partially submerged.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the freezer on a flat, level surface. Freeze for at least 2 hours, preferably 3-4 hours, until completely solid.
  6. Remove from the freezer and lift the parchment paper off the baking sheet. Break the frozen yogurt into irregular pieces using your hands or a sharp knife.
  7. Transfer the pieces to a freezer-safe container, layering them between sheets of parchment paper to prevent sticking. Store in the freezer until ready to serve.

Notes

Serve straight from the freezer for the best crackle texture. Don’t let it sit at room temperature for more than a minute or two. For babies under one year, use maple syrup instead of honey. For dairy-free, use thick coconut yogurt or almond milk yogurt.
